Prior to co-founding Gabay-Rafiy & Bowler LLP, Anne Marie Bowler served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Judith S. Kaye of the New York Court of Appeals, the highest court in the State of New York, where she assisted with appeals in both civil and criminal cases.

INSURANCE REGULATORY PRACTICE Gabay-Rafiy & Bowler LLP represents corporations and individual insurance brokers and agents in regulatory investigations and licensing and relicensing issues before the New York State Insurance Department. The firm also analyzes insurance coverage issues in the entertainment, real estate, construction, and retail services industries. Gabay-Rafiy & Bowler LLP is a member of the Circle of Consultants for Professional Insurance Agent and the Council of Insurance Brokers of Greater New York. The firm’s attorneys stays abreast of topics related to the field of insurance by attending legal and industry seminars.

The firm's partners worked on Proskauer Rose's trial team representing the policyholder, Silverstein Properties, in the property damage and business interruption insurance litigation arising out of the collapse of the Twin Towers, and were also involved in a major pollution-exclusion dispute resulting from environmental contamination at numerous paper mills nationwide.

The firm handles infringement issues and prepares or responds to cease and desist letters. The firm also counsels clients on issues raised by digital technology related to domain names, e-commerce, and the Internet and negotiates and drafts intellectual property licenses and agreements.
